Description: The player in Far Cry 2 has access to a large arsenal of real world weapons, including battle rifles, sniper rifles, RPGs and light machine guns. The game breaks these weapons down into three types: Primary weapons, which are mostly two-handed guns such as assault rifles, sniper rifles, and shotguns; Secondary, which are mostly one-handed weapons, such as automatic and semi-automatic pistols, a small grenade launcher, and small IEDs; and Special, mostly heavier weaponry, such as light machine guns, RPGs, and a rifle that fires neurotoxin darts. In addition to the three selectable types of weapons, a machete is carried at all times. All weapons in game are "mirrored", with ejection ports on left side. A major gameplay feature is that these weapons degrade over time. Weapons become dirty and prone to jamming and eventually become completely unusable.
