And that is why I have decided to concentrate on playing for West Ham United and that is where my focus will be."[17] During this time, Ljungberg was linked to Greek club, Olimpiakos. People believed West Ham was eager to unload the injury prone Ljungberg. The link to Olimpiakos was quickly dismissed by Ljungberg's agent, Claes Elefalk.
