Description: Hellboy II is I suppose nothing especially new, but it¡¯s a welcome return to form for Danny Elfman and he has found a new creative partner in Guillermo del Toro. Composer and director are well matched indeed as del Toro¡¯s worlds are very much in tune with Elfman¡¯s sensibilities and he¡¯s certainly as visionary as Tim Burton, if not more so in some ways. I doubt that this will be the last we see of the Elfman/del Toro partnership and this first bout is certainly as brash and entertaining as they come.
