V was certified Gold for shipments to retailers of 500,000 copies on February 27, 2007, and was nominated as #7 on "Album of The Year" by Billboard Readers' Choice. In Argentina, it was certified Platinum. The album was re-released in Japan in a limited Deluxe Edition format.
